Vicat: Skill Partner for WorldSkills France 2022

25 January 2022

Vicat is keen to support the training of young people wishing to take up a vocation in the construction industry, and has entered into an agreement with Worldskills France—previously known as COFOM (French Vocational Olympics Committee)—which organizes the world’s largest vocational competition.

The WorldSkills Competition organized every two years by WorldSkills International is the largest vocational competition in the world. It sees young professionals from throughout the world measuring up against each other in an international event held at a single location. Youth, sharing, hard work, commitment, fair play, excellence, open-mindedness and respect for cultural diversity are the keywords that sum up the WorldSkills Competition.

The commitment to this competition is a reflection of the Group’s determination to encourage the transmission of French know-how and to promote the strengths of all the construction and industrial vocations.
