India: Bharathi cement readies new production line
The Bharathi Cement plant launches a second production unit, establishing the Vicat Group as one of the major players in the cement market in the south of India.
Located in India's Andra Pradesh region, the Bharathi Cement plant is finalizing the launch of its second production unit. With a capacity of 5,000 tons, the new facility features some technical modifications, adding to the reliability of the entire plant. The extension of the plant's quarry will provide raw materials of excellent quality for both production lines. Meanwhile, the installation of an online analyzer will ensure the stability of limestone piles.
The start of this second unit marks the completion of 18 months of construction work, including thousands of engineering hours, as well as systems and engineering tests. The entire effort reinforces the position of Bharathi Cement in the south of India, while making the Vicat Group one of the major players in the region's cement industry.
