The CIPLAN company finalises the acquisition of REALMIX

20 August 2025

CIPLAN (Cimento Planalto SA), 76.5%-owned by the French group VICAT, announced the acquisition of REALMIX and its subsidiary, Capital Concreto.

Brasilia (DF), 20 August 2025: CIPLAN (Cimento Planalto SA), 76.5%-owned by the French group VICAT, announced the acquisition of REALMIX and its subsidiary, Capital Concreto. The acquisition concerns the entirety (100%) of REALMIX shares. The operation has been approved by the Administrative Council of Economic Defence (CADE).

"This operation is an important step in CIPLAN’s strategy of vertical integration, consolidating our efforts to generate value for our customers," said Sérgio Bautz, the CEO of CIPLAN. Like CIPLAN, over several decades REALMIX has established solid partnerships with its customers, founded on trust, proximity and the creation of shared value.

With more than 20 years of experience, REALMIX, whose registered office is located in Aparecida de Goiânia (GO), has 4 mixing plants with a total capacity of around 720,000 m³ of concrete per year. With this acquisition, CIPLAN is strengthening its position in the construction market of the Central-West region.

REALMIX is supported by recognised expertise and a strong brand in terms of low-carbon concrete: Quantum was one of the first low-carbon types of concrete to be developed in Brazil. Its formula makes it possible to reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 30% compared to conventional concrete, while preserving the required mechanical performance and durability.

This acquisition, which is fully in line with the VICAT group’s decarbonisation strategy and the Climate Plan led by the Brazilian government, will allow CIPLAN to speed up the development of more durable and responsible construction solutions.
