The Brasília exhibition: a journey to the heart of a visionary city

25 March 2026

The Vicat Group and the Louis Vicat Foundation support the exhibition Brasília – from utopia to capital, from March 16 to 21, 2026 in Paris at the Palais d’Iléna.

This exceptional exhibition retraces the fascinating history of the Brazilian capital, inaugurated in 1960 and which has become a global symbol of urban innovation.

This support and commitment resonate with the history of the Vicat group.

Established in Brazil since January 2019, the Group maintains strong relationships with local communities and regions.

Ciplan Cimento, the Group’s Brazilian subsidiary, is one of the country’s major construction companies. It operates a modern cement plant near Brasília and also has a network of 18 ready-mix concrete plants and two aggregate quarries. Enjoying a strong reputation, Ciplan cultivates long-term relationships with its clients, reflecting the Group’s 200-year history.

Supporting the Brasília exhibition is a way to celebrate this long-term relationship and contribute to showcasing a major architectural heritage.
