Défi.Thermicat, first range of self-compacting thermal concretes to obtain a technical Opinion (ATec), official document token of quality and security
The Défi.Thermicat range of structural insulating concretes of Vicat Group obtained a Technical Opinion, granted by the Construction Science and Technique Center (CSTB). This assessment, awarded by the CCFAT (committee in charge of formulating Technical Opinions) is a token of quality and technology for professionnals.
Buildings energetical performance is at the heart of building industrials and professionnals concerns but also of numerous others. To answer this preoccupation, Vicat Group Concrete Teams formulated the range of Défi.Thermicat thermal concretes, which obtained a Technical Option from the Building Science and Technique Center (CSTB).
Intented/Designed for all architectural works for outer coversheet achievements, the Défi.Thermicat range of products helps reducing thermal losses while maintaining a traditional building method. These concretes answer the 2012 thermal regulation requirements while complying with EN 206/CN product norm for structural concretes. Another characteristic of this range: it enables a wide scale of forms designed for modern aesthetical architectonic projects while suppressing vibrations (self-compacting concretes).
Défi.Thermicat process thus obtained ATec from CSTB by meeting the various criteria of this assessment. It took two years to obtain this certification, well-known in the construction sector. More than 30 worksites have been made with these products, showing Vicat Concrete Teams know-how.
